Yoga

Since ancient times yoga has been known to have powerful therapeutic effects on the body, mind and spirit. Today, students of all kinds find yoga’s relaxation and healing benefits allow for daily renewal and nourishment. Yoga soothes the mind, facilitates relaxation, boosts your immunity, enhances your quality of life, and can get you in great physical shape.

Yoga Makes You Feel Great

Stretches
: Yoga postures gently stretch the muscles in the body, increasing the flexibility and lengthening the muscles, tendons and ligaments.

Strengthens
: Holding yoga postures tones every part of the body, including the internal organs.

Mobilizes: 
Moving from posture to posture through the exercises massages the body, increasing circulation to stimulate, heal, and eliminate toxins.

Soothes: 
Slow, gentle movements with deep breathing soothes the nervous system and revitalizes the body rather than tire it.

The Benefits of Yoga for Pregnancy, Birth, and Parenting

Whether you are new to yoga or already an experienced practitioner, you can enjoy the benefits of yoga while pregnant. Yoga classes are a great way to prepare yourself for the birthing process. By using, stretching, and cultivating the muscles for birth, you inherently make birth easier.
